Glimpse is the trademark of Elite Fashion Manufacturing Corporation which mainly manufactures knitted wear. The company, a family corporation, was started in February 1994 and caters principally to teenage girls nationwide.

Lately, it has started manufacturing garments made of fabric. It advertised in the papers for pattern makers and surprisingly, it had a difficult time getting them. This situation led me, as a partner of Elite Manufacturing Corporation, to enroll at Golden Hands Fashion & Arts School. Actually, I have heard that many garment manufacturers have likewise taken lessons at Golden Hands. Being a busy person staying in Novaliches, I liked Golden Hands’ teaching its students on an individual basis. This meant that I could fix my own schedule (this is also the reason we have ‘balikbayan’ classmates). So I chose a once a week, whole-day schedule. Golden Hands’ pattern making method is so easy to understand and the patterns result in a perfect fit. What more can I ask for? It is now common knowledge that the graduates of Golden Hands have succeeded in putting up their own shops here and abroad. As a matter of fact, one of them even called up Golden Hands just to say to a teacher, “Please tell Mrs. Francisco that I have a big shop in Australia.”

Right after taking up Fashion Designing in Golden Hands Fashion & Arts School, I, Daisy Tan-Sario, put up a dress shop. I then volunteered to dress up the mannequins in the fabric section of the Metro Department Store in Market, Market, Fort Bonifacio, which is near her shop. I learned the ways and means of getting the existence of my shop announced from the Golden Hands lectures on Entrepreneurship which are given to all Golden Hands Students.
